Designed by the architect Giacomo Tazzini around 1824, Cascina Costa Alta has a facade with arched windows that reminds the compositional types of Brianza villas, completed with lookout. The Cascina is characterized by three buildings around a rustic courtyard and has a portico with six columns. Under the portico is visible an old stone well. Situated on a slight hill and surrounded by tall trees, Cascina Costa Alta occupies an isolated position inside the historic Monza Park. The surrounding lawns provide wide spaces for walks and relax. Today, the Cascina is the operational base of education activities held by Coop.Soc.META. Inside the building lays Hostel Costa Alta with bar and dining. Therea are also wide spaces for business meetings, seminars activities and training. It's also possible to rent a bike. The aesthetic qualities and the elegance of Cascina Costa Alta are ideals for important public and private events and celebrations.
